THE FILTH OF FOREST HILLS (SKID ROW) PART 4: STARBUCKS CLEANS UP ITS ACT AFTER BEING SHAMED, TOO BAD THAT CAN’T BE SAID ABOUT LOCAL HACKS LIKE KATZ & KOSLOWITZ

Ah, The Filth of Forest Hills Skid Row continues with some results and more garbage  and homeless men messes.

After last weeks mess in front of Starbucks (118-24 Queens Blvd), where it seems the employees don’t clean up in front of their store and homeless men are allowed to bother residents and customers with their panhandling (I guess that is a job), THE FILTH OF FOREST HILLS immediately contacted Starbucks Headquarters with photos  and complaints and received a response within a couple of hours (can’t be said of the hack local elected officials though):

And the rest of the week it seems they got their shit together and started cleaning up regularly and not letting one of the regular Forest Hills homeless men stand there anymore (but the one just moved down to the liquor store, Chinese Take-Out and the deli place).

Clean and no homeless men panhandling

BUT other businesses still are not getting their shit or trash together.  Here is a mess found at 12:00pm on 2.24.18, plenty of time to clean up, but piles of crap lie there. The culprit, could be any of these fine establishments from the the Skin Care Foot Spa or the Chinese Take-Out. DOS can have a field day handing out fines for NOT cleaning up in front of these establishments.

While the corner of Queens Blvd & 78 Ave has had the huge pile of crap  removed, today saw some discarded items from the slobs. Again, where is CVS or Superior Haircuts where this is located.

AND where are the hack elected officials of this neighborhood of a million dollar and up homes, the high priestess of HACK, Queens Borough President Melinda Katz  and the other hack, Karen Koslowitz (I mean you could not contact Starbucks or would that mean you would actually have to lift a hand).

In the meantime, FOREST SKID ROW still is seeing a surge in panhandling from the single men from the shithole homeless shelter, Comfort Inn on Queens Blvd.

Residents of the exclusive FOREST HILLS GARDENS, might want to be on the watch-out, because your elected officials are selling you out.  It is amazing that a small minority of homeless  mean are allowed to reek havoc on this community, while little is being done about it. But I guess that would infringe on the rights of this group of people conducting their “business”. Cannot have that in fake progressive liberal NYC with the biggest hack, Mayor dicBlasio.

THE FILTH OF FOREST HILLS PART 3: SKID ROW PHOTO OF THE WEEK & THE HOMELESS PROBLEM AFFECTING FOREST HILLS AND QUEENS

The Filth of Forest Hills Skid Row continues with this classic photo above that is a perfect example of how Mayor dicWad handles the homeless issue, dump them in nice communities with no safety net and discard them like the trash on Forest Hills Skid Row like the very problematic homeless hotel, Comfort Inn (124-18 Queens Blvd), which houses problematic single men, who you see wondering around the neighborhood bothering residents and asking them for money. LOCK YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, because Forest Hills/Kew Gardens is no longer the once safe community anymore. AND IT WILL GET WORSE, while Queens BP hack Melinda Katz and Councilmember hack, Karen Koslowitz stand idly by while quality of life goes down the shitter. As Bob Dylan sang The Times They Are A-Changin’ FOR FOREST HILLS/KEW GARDENS.

WELCOME to the FILTH OF FOREST HILLS and the NEW SKID ROW:

Queens residents see rise in homeless ‘taking over neighborhood’ one hotel at a time

A year ago Mayor de Blasio promised to cut back on placing homeless people in hotels in residential neighborhoods and are sometimes hot spots for crime.

Instead, records show, the city over the past 12 months has increased its use of hotels from 84 to 91.

The residents of Elmhurst, Queens, know all about it.

All along Queens Boulevard the Department of Homeless Services has placed homeless in one hotel after another. Residents believe two more are coming soon based on building permits touting new “hotel/apartment residences.”

Watchful residents complain about a history of complaints over incidents involving these hotels-turned-shelters, from prostitution to physical assaults.

Between 2013 and 2017, there have been 809 calls to 311 about homeless assistance in the two zip codes with the bulk of the hotels: 11377 and 11373.

Those two zip codes far outstrip all others in Queens for calls about the homeless.

On Jan. 4, the Department of Investigation revealed prostitution and drug arrests at 34 hotels where the city places homeless families. Twelve of those hotels are located in Queens, the report said.

Exhibit No. 1 cited by frustrated locals is the Pan Am Hotel.

Four months after the mayor’s promise to cut back on shelter-hotels, the city re-upped its contract with the nonprofit that manages a family shelter in the Pan Am — extending it through 2023.

Total cost to taxpayers at the Pan Am could top $66 million.

“On the one hand, (the mayor) is telling people he wants to get out of the hotels,” said Phil Wong, who lives behind the Pan Am. “On the other hand he’s extending the contract for six years.”

At a recent community meeting with the shelter managers, an official revealed that robberies within a quarter mile of the Pan Am had risen from six last year to nine so far this year.

The city has increased its usage of shelter-hotels for the homeless from 84 to 91 over the past 12 months.

Several blocks west on Queens Blvd., a homeless man staying at a Quality Inn at 54th St. last month punched an auto body shop owner in the face, then ran back into the hotel.

Though there was video of the attack, the NYPD closed the case a day later without making an arrest. After the victim complained, they reopened the case. To date no arrests have been made.

“They’re just taking over the neighborhood,” said attorney Bill Kregler, a former cop and GOP candidate for Queens Borough President.

Kregler said besides the punching incident, residents who are staying at the Quality Inn have taken to hanging out on a neighbor’s stoop. The owner has installed security cameras and complained repeatedly to the local precinct.

Longtime homeowner Sally Wang, a member of Elmhurst United, a group pushing to close the Pan Am, said the new contract with DHS is just the latest insult to arrive from City Hall.

“What we’re finding is a lot of homeowners are selling out because of the shelter,” she said. “They don’t want to be near the shelter. They’re selling to investor owners who don’t live here and that starts the deterioration of the whole neighborhood. And it’s worse now that the contract is in for six years.”

THE FILTH OF FOREST HILLS PART 2: SKID ROW AND THE FILTHY ELECTED OFFICIALS OF FOREST HILLS

THE FILTH OF FOREST HILLS SKID ROW JOURNEY CONTINUES:

Not much difference from the first “Journey” 24 hours ago,  just more CRAP.

More homeless men bothering residents for money, all coming from that despicable Comfort Inn homeless shelter ( 124-18 Queens Blvd), brought you by Mayor dicWad and the hack politicians like Katz and Koslowitz who stood by quietly and did SHIT. No wonder theft, assault and other crimes are up in the area. It is only a matter of time before something really bad happens with these individuals, who receive no social services while staying at the NO SECURITY Comfort Inn homeless shelter. I mean really,  it is just a warehouse to place people while the leadership of this city twiddle their thumbs up their overpaid anuses and have not one decent idea of what to do (HINT: End the “right to shelter” law in NYC.).

Forest Hills Skid Row, 24 hours later, seems as filthy as ever with even more litter, alcohol bottles (wonder where those are coming from) and irresponsible businesses on Forest Hills Skid Row (Chase Bank, Starbucks, Fed Ex Office, CVS and SuperCuts doing very little as far as clean-up.

AND let’s not forget the FILTHY FOREST HILLS LEADERSHIP THAT HELPED USHER IN THE FOREST HILLS SKID ROW.

At the top of the CRAP HEAP, is none other than the good community destroyer, the Dope from Park Slope, Big Bird, dicBlasio, the one and only Mayor deBlasio, who has helped bring NYC back to the shitty old days. As he reduces the number of people at Rikers, plan to see more SINGLE MEN roaming around Forest Hills Skid Road and other parts of Queens. AND wait to that wonderful jail gets placed across from the Comfort Inn homeless shelter and don’t believe the bullshit that this place will stop being a homeless shelter  by February 2019. I am sure there will be another “homeless emergency” and of course Forest Hills leadership will as usual DO NOTHING. What, you are waiting for this area to be the new ghetto Jamaica Queens.

Then we have the DO NOTHING Queens BP, Melinda Katz, standing idly by, while her neighborhood slowly descends  into CRAP, while the other do nothing Councilmember Karen Koslowitz collects her political welfare checks courtesy of the hard working tax payers. How did this woman run unopposed in the last election, inquiring minds what to know. SO what have you two ladies done lately.  From the looks of the Forest Hills Skid Row, jack shit.
